Living the dream ....

I'm so looking forward to our holiday in 4 weeks. Were off to Spain. Yes Sunny Spain were all the magic happens. Beautiful Sunny weather, beaches, yummy food, swimming pool, sea air ...and of course sand in ya belly button!

I love Spain, we had some great summer holidays there as kids and it's always been the place to go even as a last minute spare of the moment decision. I have often thought that at some point I would like to have a Villa there my own private Villa like many British people who already have homes there ...my perfect little Villa would look like this.
 Peaceful, Private outdoor space
Great kitchen for making paella & Tapas

 Swimming Pool
 Breakfast with a view

Short walk to the beach & Town.. Just Perfect

I have often wondered what it would be like to be on a permanent holiday, no work worries, enough money not to have to worry about what your spending.

Waking up every day fresh and ready for the day ahead.

Eating at the little family run restaurants where they welcome you with open arms like your family. Bliss

I'm sure this is achievable there is always a way and anything is possible, just need to figure a way to have this kind of life for me and my family.

There is always a way, there is always a way...

Now where is that lucky lottery ticket !!!

Enjoy your day.

lots of love

Not all who wander are lost ....

How do some people get the life they always dreamed of? you know the one's, they have everything. Perfect partner, perfect house, perfect holidays, car, holiday home. great job, loads of money, perfect teeth... The list goes on some people are just really good at planning there life right down to they type of family they want there prospective partner to have. Timing of there children even from conception. Is this something you are born with or does it come from leaning lessons as you get older? Or is it that some people just have the very highest of expectations that they won't considering anything less.

Me well what can I say.... I have never planned anything in my life, I have never thought about my career that follows one direction "this is what I want to do" I change my mind way too much and maybe this is why I am probably the most un-organised person you will ever meet, always late and always lived each day as it comes. I'm thinking this is probably why I still cant drive, I'm still unsure on what job I really want to do and time is going passed so quickly, I have hardly traveled...I really have no idea what I was doing in my twenties to let all of this opportunity pass me by of actually getting hold of something, anything and having a direction or experiencing more life ...This is where I am going, this is what I am going to achieve by this date.....I just don't seem to run or be made to think like that.

I'm not sure why I am thinking this is a bad thing as this is me ...it is who I am and I'm OK with it and even though I'm not one of theses people who is like this or think there is anything wrong with people like me or them for that matter but....for a split second today I just looked back thinking WTF??!! But saying all this I was and am happy at no point was theses things ever an issue so if you are reading this and are like me - its OK to be like this ...it's just means the following.

1) I am adaptable at what ever life throws at me
2) I never get let down by not reaching set goals
3) I never have any high expectations of people and take them for what they are.
4) I am a jack of all trades there is no job I cannot do
5) I am at my best when change happens - that are not foreseen
6) I am able to be spontaneous and don't need a plan to make a good thing out of a bad situation.
7) I think quick on my feet
8) Yes I am indecisive but I like to look at all the options before making a decision how ever long it takes!

So.....here is to us un-organised, free spirited people!!!I'm raising a glass to us!! its ok to be us!!

I have also decided that the following sentence was made for me and maybe I should get this tattooed somewhere.

So go ahead borrow it ... I'll let ya

lots of love

All you need is Love

I was thinking today - yes slightly painful I know...about love.

I was blog searching and looking up all sorts of pictures on the internet and I just love photo's that show two people "In Love" The one's I most like most are on a beach setting, sunset and are just a solute of two people looking at each other. It shows intimacy, a bond, closeness...like theses photos.

To be so connected to someone else, liked two wired souls

Here comes the science of love
Psychologists have shown it takes between 90 seconds and 4 minutes to decide if you fancy someone.
Research has shown this has little to do with what is said, rather
  • 55% is through body language
  • 38% is the tone and speed of their voice
  • Only 7% is through what they say
The 3 stages of love are ..
1) LUST
2) ATTRACTION
3) ATTACHMENT

It's all about timing as well - when your soul mate is ready and you are on the same page whether you think so or not then the universe will find what ever way it can to get you together.

Something are just ment to be - Fill my heat with Love

lots of love strawberry - blue xoxox

Lazy Sunday

Today has been a lazy day indeed, for the 1st time in weeks I actually didn't go out today, I get like that sometimes I love being outside but every once in a while - I just want to have a day of not doing anything and I was also glad little legs had the same idea. It's 8.30pm and I didn't even bother to to get dressed today. Yesterday the weather was beautiful we went over to the local Town Park which is so big, I normally go there with other people but we decided to go and yes we got lost - but that was a big part of the fun. We had no idea where the adventure playground was although I have been here about a zillion times (with other people) I now realise I really do need to pay attention when I go somewhere I like!!

Either way we did stumble across this beautiful lake and took some lovely pictures.
So after spending a good 4 hours walking, lots of running and looking at bugs & butterfly's

The we made a pit stop for some much deserved Ice-Cream :)

The perfect end to a perfect day!

My Journal

Phew! Panic Over
I really thought I had lost my journal this morning, my little book of notes that I have been keeping with me for the last couple of weeks. At the moment this is my baby. I saw it with my friend Kate in Selfridges, there is a whole section in there, but this note book really stood out and I just new I was meant to have it!

It's like a whole another world of  books, diary's, planers and open journal so many designs and patterns ...crazy how much you can pay for them. Mine was a very reasonable £3.29. with this I also purchased a Happy Box ...its just a box but it has a very nice message on it - it reads:-
You will have to forgive this picture its bad because of the following reason:-

 1) my camera is running out of battery which is the reason for the blurry-mess.
2) I can't seem to get this the right way up!! I have been faffing for the last 40 mins and its driving me potty!! so just deal with it, until I work this out.....

This is my lovely Journal

I took this one the day of purchase hence the good quality of the picture.

When I brought this I didn't not even think about doing a blog at this stage but they both seem to go hand in hand. I jot down all my thoughts and things I'm thinking and anything about my day. I have allot of time to think on the train.

Must get some batteries today!

London Baby!

So I got a new job to start and I'm very excited!

But I can't help feeling a little sad that I will be leaving the part of London that I have work in now for the last 7 years I have always been a few minutes from the lovely Oxford Street. This part of London is always buzzing, Hyde Park great in the summer months for lunch and of course the amazing department store Selfridges. I just love a department store's getting lost in it & just leaving with one them little yellow bag's makes you feel part of it...it's all about the yellow bag!

Even if you only brought a chocolate bar (shhhhhh) ...you still get a yellow bag yay :)

OK, so the things I won't miss about the busiest London Street!

crazy que's like everywhere!

over-priced sandwich's and full of fancy rubbish - sometimes all you want is a cheese & pickle!

This is where I normally get off ...I would like to say that I wont be getting the tube anymore - but I will - I'll just be getting on another line but the central line is the most packed so wont miss that either!

But I will miss the truning on of the lights at Christmas when they light up the streets it is beautiful

However after about 5 min's - it's so bloody cold all you want is a nice cup of hot chocolate and a blanket

hmmmm night night all

Letter Of Thank's

Dear Angles & The Universe,

I just wanted to Thank You once again for everything that you do for me.

I think I now realise everything is about timing.

I got the job - thank you x

I know that I can appear un-grateful & inpatient sometimes, but I am truly grateful for everything you have brought into my life so far and the doors of opportunity that are now open for me.

Even though a person has not been to nice to me I will still show her kindness and I hope she will understand and find something that she needs in her life to make her happy.

Thank you & with much love

History of the Dinner Table: Who Would You Invite?

I have such a passion for beautiful photo's, especially ones that tell a story or mean something to you at whatever stage you are in your life. Recently I have an obsession with dinner table's - beautiful, long thick wooden tables like theses.

But a perfect dinner table also needs the following

Plates, flowers and cutlery... or personally I prefer something a little more..

Colourful :) I just loves theses Plates!

There is nothing more inviting than a beautiful table, makes you feel welcome. You should also appreciate how much time someone has put into presenting it as much as the food of course.

Back in the VVictorian times dinner parties were all about status. The hostess would invite people of upper class society. Typically she would invite a guest of Honor a Lord of some sort and then well-to-do gentleman. She would also invite people who had musical talent or entertaining skills.

The DinnerThe Victorian hostess had a primary goal in mind when she held a dinner party, and that purpose was to flaunt her status. She aimed to impress her guests with elaborate dishes. The food was served in two possible ways: a la Francaise(meaning that the course was placed in front of the hostess, carved, and passed around) and a la Russe (meaning that the already cut courses where brought to the table). The former way was popular in early part of the Victorian Era and was replaced by the latter way .The guests examined their menus, always written in French while they awaited the first part of the three course meal. They were not expected to eat everything offered, and could pick and choose which foods they wanted as they sat around the ornate table, which usually had a decorative centerpiece, like flowers or a fruit pyramid (“Dinner at Eight"). Some possible food items included soup, venison, poultry, vegetables, and for dessert, and imported fruits Oysters were also frequently served.

Fast Forward a few hundred years

Now days it all about getting together - although it's not really as big as I would like it in the U.K - we resort to eating our dinner off our lap's in front of the telly - really not my thing! I just love getting together with friends and family (no telly) and sitting round a big table with loads of food, wine and of course laughter like theses picture's.

Lots of good people to chat too...

 Lots of Laughter...

and above all good yummy food!

This bring me to ask "who would you invite to your table"?

Much Love
